2011 British Open TV coverage schedule
Tiger Woods has withdrawn from the 2011 British Open due to knee problems, but after the last two major golf tournaments, he's hardly the story anymore. Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland has come on in 2011 to post major performances in the Masters and the U.S. Open. In the Masters, McIlroy was the youngest player ever to lead the first day, but he eventually fell short, coughing up his substantial lead in the final round to finish tied for 15th. However, in the U.S. Open, McIlroy steadied himself and won in a commanding fashion. Can he take the British Open crown as well?
