'Weeds' welcomes Michelle Trachtenberg in Season 7

The Season 7 premiere of "Weeds" is almost here and to celebrate, we have some casting news for the seventh year of the Botwins' crazy antics. Michelle Trachtenberg of "Gossip Girl" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" is joining the cast in a multi-episode arc.According to Showtime, Trachtenberg will play "Emma, a sexy, intelligent, low-level, pot-dealing rival to Nancy (series star Mary-Louise Parker) who catches Silas' (Hunter Parrish) eye." Of course she catches his eye. What doesn't catch Silas' eye? Trachtenberg is scheduled for two episodes as of now.
We can't wait to see Georgina Sparks and Dawn Summers as a pot-dealing rival of Nancy's. The show has moved to New York City for its seventh season, so Trachtenberg should feel right at home after "Gossip Girl."
"Weeds" premieres Monday, June 27 at 10 p.m. ET on Showtime.
