'Weeds' Season 7 preview and a refresher course of the show so far
Everyone's favorite pot dealer and obvious annual Mother of the Year candidate Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker) is back with "Weeds" Season 7, which premieres soon on Showtime. To gear up for the season billed as "The Botwins Take New York," the show has kindly put together a refresher course of all the bat-crap crazy stuff the Botwins have done over the past six seasons.
We aren't sure if the animation is cute and clever or creepy and going to give us nightmares. Probably some of both. There is also a behind-the-scenes preview for Season 7 below. Mary-Louise Parker comments that when we last left Nancy, she "had a moment of clarity and did the right thing, which is rare." Very astute observation.
So now it's three years later, Nancy is out of prison and the Botwin boys are coming home from Denmark. What will New York City hold for this motley crew? We don't know, but we trust that the "Weeds" creative team will make it outlandish and oh-so-entertaining.
"Weeds" comes back Monday, June 27 at 10 p.m. ET on Showtime.

This show went downhill hard last season, but after seeing what they delivered for a season 7 premier, I won't even watch this crap anymore.... Why do you even call it Weeds anymore Jenji?.... I could write this show ten times better then it's being written now... Super lame! Had so much potential with a good writer behind it too
Agreed Lostcoast. I just can't enter Nancy's ego anymore without needing to take a soul-shower afterwards. I mean, gun-running? Every time I watch the show I feel like I am just watching true bad guys instead of the exploits of a "loveable pot dealer." It's almost akin (not quite) to watching a show called "Sam the Loveable Skinhead."
One more thing. I am kind of torn though by the expert dynamism of the characters, yet Jenji has not had them jump the shark yet. It is refreshing to see them change so much with the time-jumps (three years later...). It's intriguing. I just feel nasty for them in the way that they change.
you people are crazy! this is a great show!!!!!!
I agree that it's sometime tough to swallow the ego, but season 6 was AMAZING. It's all about the characters, not the story.
The 6 season was great and keep me on my toes for more to come please get off your high horse and thank Jenji for the great stuff continue to keep it amazing!!!!
