TV ratings: 'The Voice' finale dips, but NBC still rules Wednesday

Fast National ratings for Wednesday, June 29, 2011The inaugural season of "The Voice" ended on a lower ratings note than its season average and was down by almost 2 million viewers from Tuesday's performance show. Still, it was better than anything NBC has aired in its timeslot in some time and helped the network to a big win Wednesday, even though the premiere of "Love in the Wild" pulled only modest numbers.
NBC averaged 10.2 million viewers and a 5.8 rating/10 share in households for the night. CBS was the best of the rest with 6 million viewers and a 3.9/7, beating out FOX (5.35 million, 3.2/6). ABC (3.9 million, 2.5/4) came in fourth. The CW trailed with a little under a million viewers and a 0.6/1.
In the adults 18-49 demographic, NBC's 3.2 rating was by far the night's best. FOX took second with a 1.9, while ABC and CBS tied for third at 1.2. The CW scored a 0.4.

Even so Javier Colon won the total vote by just 2% over Dia Frampton. Even though Dia Frampton had the number 1 hit on iTunes, doubling Javier Colon iTunes sales.
Just shows how biased Justin Bieber is. Obviously he did want anyone to vote for a woman, or vote for anyone who is gay or lesbian. Out of the four finalists three were women. Dia Frampton, Beverly McClellan and Vicci Martinez

Javier Colon truly deserve to become THE VOICE and Team Adam. Can't wait for Season 2 went its air after the Super Bowl despite the lockout.
I think that NBC screwed up by changing the schedule around on The Voice viewers so many times... it started out as just Tuesdays, and then randomly had two Wednesday night shows at the end?
Choose a format and stick to it - I did not watch or record the Wednesday night shows because they were not on my "radar". Grr.
Agree with JoeyB- NBC screwed up on this one. Airing at 8pm in the summer, not even at what had been a regular time, was not that smart. But...it's NBC.
Yes, the dominatrix pantyhouse ABC is a breathe of frosh aire compeared to Leslie Moonbat's netwart of CSI, CSI:Miami, CSI:New york, CSI:New york blue bloods, CSI:Hawaii, CSI:Navy, CSI:Navy LA, CSI:Mentalist, CSI:Mentalist II, CSI:Mentalist III, etc. Haha lol purr, sad thins! Why should anyone vote on “The Voice” on NBC?, in the end Justin Bieber picks the winner. The fix is in. This show ill flop next year.

Colon doesn’t take the support he received from Bieber for granted. “Especially when it was so close,” he says. “I know a lot of people see his tweets. Did they translate into actual people watching the show and voting? I would imagine so. How many people, I’m not sure. But, it definitely couldn’t hurt for sure.”
This show is rigged. Adam Levine even said he was rigging the show when he voted to cast out Casey Weston was up against Javier. “Underwaterstar6 hours ago in reply to Becky, “It goes deeper than Justin Beiber, look back at how Adam Levine voted when Casey Weston was up against Javier. Pretttyyyyy obvious, Adam...”
And from the start all “The Voice” commercials on NBC featured Javier Colon; the fix was in from the beginning.
Eric, she just needs to be committed once and for all and the sooner, the better.
Is it me, or does someone here have a grudge against justin Bieber.
