TV Ratings: NBC's 'The Voice' drowns out the competition
Fast National ratings for Tuesday, June 14, 2011"The Voice" didn't have much trouble shouting down the competition on Tuesday night since NBC was the only network running original programming in its time slot. Another NBC offering, "America's Got Talent," also trumped a slate of (mostly) reruns on offer from the other networks. FOX's "Masterchef," also running in the 8 p.m. slot, failed to attract a significant audience.
NBC averaged 12.1 million viewers and a 4.1 rating/12 share in households for the night. CBS came in at a distant second with 7.3 million viewers and a 1.1 rating/3 share while FOX (3.5 million, 1.5/5) -- which did offer new programming in the form of Gordon Ramsay's cooking competition -- came in third. The CW (805,000, 0.2/1) brought up the rear.

not hard to believe the Voice won on rateings....everthing else that was on were repeats!!!
THE VOICE is here to stay.
Did ABC seriously tank last night? Holy smokes those numbers are dreadful, even for reruns. As for the CW, so what else is new?
Gawd u r annoying, Spoilester!
I like Master Chef.
Interesting how the Voice lost over a million viewers after the 10 o'clock hour. Usually shows like this grow slightly in their last hour.
Might have to do with it ending 11 pm on a tuesday night.. People have work and school in the morning.
Or it was because the show was long and drawn out.
no matter what..THE VOICE IS UNIQUE AND ENTERTAINING..BETTER THAN AI
I love the fact that The Voice has openly gay singers and that one of them (Beverly) won America's vote last week! I also love that people who would not normally get a chance because of their "look" are getting one here. And, the fact that we can only vote 10 times for our favorite makes the voting more fair than AI. Great show!
