TV Ratings: NBA Finals, Tony Awards up over last year

Fast affiliate ratings for Sunday, June 12, 2011.

Note: Because ABC aired Game 6 of the 2011 NBA Finals live in all timezones, these fast affiliate ratings are skewed.

Though official ratings aren't in yet, we do know that ABC's broadcast of the Heat/Mavs game swept the competition, including The Tony Awards on CBS. Both the NBA finals and The Tony Awards showed improvements over last year's broadcasts.

Overall, ABC averaged 17.9 million viewers and scored a 10.1 rating/17 share in households.CBS  followed with 7.4 million and a 4.8/8 share, with NBC in third (4.1 million, 2.4/4) and FOX (3.0 million, 1.7/3) in fourth.

ABC won the18-49 demo, with a 7.3, followed far behind by FOX (1.4), CBS (1.1), and NBC (1.0).
