TV ratings: 'Mentalist,' CBS reruns lead Thursday, 'SYTYCD' results fall

With the NBA Finals done, Thursday night's ratings returned to more normal summertime levels. CBS ended up leading the night in total viewers, while FOX led the 18-49 demographic even though "So You Think You Can Dance" declined for the second week in a row.

CBS delivered 7.2 million viewers and a 4.6 rating/8 share in households in primetime, winning comfortably over ABC (5 million, 2.8/5). FOX (4.8 million, 3.0/5) took third. NBC came in fourth with 2.6 million viewers and a 1.7/3, and The CW (1.1 million, 0.7/1) brought up the rear.

None of the networks managed to get over the 2.0 mark among adults 18-49. FOX was at the top of the standings with a 1.6, edging ABC's 1.5 and CBS' 1.4. NBC averaged 0.9 in the demo and The CW 0.4.

CBS: "The Big Bang Theory" rerun (6.7 million, 4.2/8)/"Rules of Engagement" rerun (5.6 million, 3.6/6)
ABC: "Wipeout" rerun (5.5 million, 3.1/6)
NBC: "Community" rerun (2.6 million, 1.8/3)/"30 Rock" rerun (2.4 million, 1.6/3)
The CW: "The Vampire Diaries" rerun (1.1 million, 0.7/1)

18-49 leader: "So You Think You Can Dance" (2.1)

"CSI" rerun (7.3 million, 4.8/8)
ABC: "Wipeout" rerun (6.05 million, 3.1/5)
FOX: "Glee" rerun (3.35 million, 2.3/4)
NBC: "The Office" rerun (3.2 million, 2.0/3)/"Parks and Recreation" rerun (2.8 million, 1.7/3)
The CW: "Nikita" rerun (1.1 million, 0.7/1)

Damn -- Love Bites is such a good show!!

re love bites. A matter of taste though they certainly don't seem to have spent much money advertising it.On the other hand I hardly ever watch NBC so there may be promos I have missed.
