'Torchwood: Miracle Day': Watch 11 minutes of new clips, interviews and backstage antics
After waiting what seems like forever, "Torchwood: Miracle Day" is almost upon us.
The Starz co-produced run of the BBC original premieres July 8, and in anticipation of the big event, the network has packaged together a rather sizable sneak peak into what's thus-far been a mysterious 10 episodes.
The new spot further explains the premise, while introducing all of the new additions to the existing cast -- but consider yourself warned. There are a few spoilers here. So for those of you who've waited this long for "Miracle Day," you may want to hold out for another week.
And be sure to check back on Zap2it the week of July 4, when we'll be rolling out our interviews with cast members Bill Pullman, Lauren Ambrose, John Barrowman and Eve Myles.

Ianto Jones still missing in the trailer...Still not watching...
why would Ianto Jones be in the trailer the character was killed off last season
Russell T. Davis still a gasbag. I missed Ianto. However, I can't wait to watch.
The folks whining about Ianto are starting to sound like the people who refused for 20 years to watch any Star Trek The Next Generation or spinoffs because Shatner wasn't in them. I personally liked Toshiko Sato and Owen Harper a heck of a lot more than the often-annoying Ianto, but I didn't stop watching when they killed them off in a far more horrific fashion.
Brandon, there is no point in complaining about folks who won't watch the new series for whatever their reasons. Alex2 changes nothing by belittling preferences either. People will watch or not because they get something out of the series they want. I miss the old Torchwood and having watched the first two episodes of this next installment can say I think its crap television I won't be wasting further time on. Watching Gwen mix up the cure for Jack on the plane should have been seriously dramatic, riveting, and exciting; I've never laughed harder. It was a ridiculous bit of writing and the result was high comedy - not the desired effect I'm sure. So, those who like it will keep watching and those of us who don't will move on to other things as Mr. Davis suggested we do quite some time ago.
