Sugarland pays tribute to tornado victims with 'Stand Up' at 2011 CMT Music Awards

After an introduction from "American Idol" finalists Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina, country duo Sugarland took to the stage at the 2011 CMT Music Awards to perform "Stand Up," a single of which they donated the proceeds from the downloads to the American Red Cross.

As they sang, footage of the tornado devastation and a waving "Love" flag played in the background. They were joined on stage by two sisters from Joplin, MO, the site of the recent E5 tornado that left over 130 people dead.

It was a moving performance, especially because we just love Jennifer Nettles voice and could listen to her sing all night. "Stand Up" is off of the group's fourth studio album, titled "The Incredible Machine."
