Regis Philbin replacements: Ryan Seacrest, Andy Cohen, Mark Consuelos reportedly being considered

ryan-seacrest-mark-consuelos.jpgRegis Philbin announced earlier this year that this would be his last season on "Live with Regis and Kelly." He'll be stepping down in November. But who is going to be Kelly Ripa's new co-host?

The Wall Street Journal has a source close to the show's distributor, Disney-ABC Domestic Television, that says the search is narrowing and "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest, Bravo TV personality Andy Cohen and Ripa's husband, actor Mark Consuelos are all in the conversation.

A spokeswoman for Disney-ABC tells WSJ of the report, "It's ridiculous at this point to be speculating about who will replace [Regis]."

Ripa was asked about possible new co-hosts on a recent "Late Night with David Letterman" and she mentioned Cohen and CNN's Anderson Cooper, while laughing that she and her husband "would kill each other" if they were co-hosts day in and day out.

Who do you think should replace Regis?

George Stephanopoulos and his wife, Allie Wentworth, would be great replacements for the dynamic duo of Regis and Joy.

Dave Chappelle

Seacrest probably makes the most sense, as he's already well-established as a TV host, and had his own daytime show for a few years. The only spoiler though is he'd have to relocate to New York which would cause problems for his hosting of American Idol. Whoever they pick needs to have the personality and interview skills, as well as good chemistry with Ripa.

Mike Catherwood. He and Kelly have a great chemistry, and let's face it...the man is so pretty it's a crime that he's a radio personality.

Paul Reiser. I'm so sad I don't get to resmell the Paul Reiser shoe over and over and over again any more.

1.) remove kelly
2.) put craig ferguson and kristen bell
3.) ???????
4.) profit

Almost anybody besides Howie Mandel's creepy a*ss

Isn't the show being cancelled, with all there other daytime shows mostly going out?

Anderson Cooper, although I don't think he'd do it. They have good chemistry. He's funny and informed.

Clay Aiken. And get rid of Kelly if she couldn't handle it.
