Glenn Beck wants you to pay to watch his show

When Glenn Beck leaves Fox News Channel at the end of this month, he'll be taking his show to a new online network he's creating. But if you want to follow him to the Internet, you'll have to pay for the privilege.According to the New York Times, Beck will announce on Tuesday (June 7) an Internet network called GBTV, the centerpiece of which will be his daily show. He plans to charge subscribers to access GBTV. The GBTV website offers regular subscriptions for $4.95 per month or $49.95 per year and a premium package (that includes extra content) for $99.95 annually.
Charging for content online doesn't have the greatest track record, which Beck acknowledges. "I think we might be a little early," he tells the Times. "But I'd rather be ahead of the pack than part of it."
GBTV launches this week, but Beck's daily show won't begin streaming until Sept. 12. He also hopes to build a lineup of programming that includes scripted and unscripted shows.
"If you're a fan of Jon Stewart, you're going to find something on GBTV that you're going to enjoy," Beck says. "If you're a fan of '24,' you're going to find something on GBTV that you're going to enjoy."

Haha. Oh, Glenn, don't worry. You've never been ahead of the pack a day in your life. When this new venture fails, can we expect a new video of him in tears claiming it's all the liberal media's fault?
In theory this is no different than people paying to get Fox News with their cable package (I assume it's not broadcast free-to-air in the US). That said, if people are directly paying Beck, maybe that might make him more accountable for what he says on the air. This might not be a bad thing.
The sad thing is that there are poor deluded souls who WILL fork over hard earned cash to watch this bozo!
Beck has been right about everything so far and where Obama is taking the country otherwise why would Soros spend Millions on trying to destroy him only to make him bigger.
