I had no problem with the winners of the Daytime Emmys that they deigned to show Sunday night. I did have a problem with the actual show. It was the most horrible awards show I have ever seen. Since I turned sixty today I have seen a lot of them. No real production values. Tribute to Oprah was way too long. Oprah did enough tributes to herself on her show. Liked the tributes to Pat and Alex, at least that made sense. They make those shows seem effortless. Excellent hosts. No tribute to the deceased? No children's programming? The whole show was insulting to those who work in daytime and to the fans that watch.

Sadly, Drew Carey and Steve Harvey were not nominated for outstanding game show host. They better be nominated next year.

wow ... for years Regis has been snubbed in the Daytime host award in favor of The View and now he wins in his next to last year (being that he retires in Nov) and he has to share it with Dr. Oz. That is pretty damn close to a snub.

steve harvey is hilarious on family feud - his facial expressions are priceless.

congrats to dr. oz and ellen - great shows and their entire staff are well deserving.

I am so happy for Ellen.........I watch her every day (even in re-runs) she's a inspiration to many. If I am down her show always picks me up...congrats again Ellen and staff

Linda
