'Big Brother's' Cassi Colvin: 'Not everyone's gonna love me, but get to know me first'

Cassi Colvin is one of the new "Big Brother" contestants and this model from Texas tells us that the whole experience just kind of came along for her.

"'Big Brother' just kind of fell in my lap and I got to watching the seasons and got hooked on it and I thought, 'Ya know, I could do that,' so here I am."

Her strategy isn't really planned out, but she does have a few things she wants to make sure she does.

"That's the thing, there's really no way to go into the house with a set strategy 'cause it's not going to stay the same throughout," says Cassi. "I want to make sure to be myself, be friendly and kind to everybody like I would be out in the real world anyhow and play a very social game. When it comes to competitions, just compete as best I can."

When asked if there is a type of person she just really does not want to be in the house with, Cassi jokes that whatever you don't want is probably exactly what you'll get.

She also says, "I would say probably the only thing that really gets under my skin, something that I've had to deal with my whole life, is people that judge you without warrant, that don't get to know you first. Once you get to know me, if you don't like me, cool. No problem, no hard feelings. Not everyone's gonna love me, but get to know me first and figure it out, as I'll do to everybody else."

And is she single and ready to mingle?

"I'm not attached back home, no boyfriend, not even dating anyone. But as far as a showmance goes, I have no intentions of having a showmance," says Cassi. "If there's somebody ... first off, it takes me a long time to really develop any kind of feelings for somebody ... it's a very slow progression for me. If there's somebody in the house that caught my eye and we got along well ... then I would tell them, 'Hey, if I'm worth it, I'll see you when we get out.' That's my plan."
