'American Idol': Haley Reinhart performs on 'Regis and Kelly,' watch here
We know, we know. We sound like a broken record, but how did this girl not make it to the Top 2 on "American Idol"?! The mind reels... Haley Reinhart paid a visit to "Live! With Regis and Kelly" on Thursday, June 2, where she chatted a little bit about the judges' criticism of her performances throughout the competition and performed "House of the Rising Sun." Spoiler Alert -- she, once again, absolutely slays the song. Seriously, it's gorgeous.
When asked by Kelly Ripa if she felt the judges -- namely Randy Jackson and Jennifer Lopez -- were extra hard on her, Haley says, "I could feel that way at times. The only thing I could think of that would make all that make sense is the fact that they liked to see what they could get out of me. They liked to get me all aggravated, the boiling point -- they loved it!"
"He rooted for me throughout the whole thing," Haley says of Steven Tyler. "He's a good guy and we really got to see the soft, genuine side of him."

I could listen to nothing but Haley, she rocks!
With just a piano backing her and she fills the room with music.
There have been better singers on idol over the years but none have hooked me to listen to their songs over and over again like she has.
Can not wait until her first album.

I have also downloaded songs performed by Scotty & Lauren, however, I just skip over them now and jump straight to the Haley songs and once they're over, I repeat the Haley songlist again!
PS. I don't dislike Scotty or Lauren, but I keep wanting to hear the Haley songs over and over again and do not get sick of them! This has never happened to me before with ANY artist past or present.
dumb question, cause scotty and lauren were kids. kids vote more than grownups, and grownups like voting for cute kids. haley and james will be fine. very talented. also pia, casey, and paul.
All of us Haley fans out there want Haley around for a long time because we feel she will really be able to bring some great entertainment our way. We never get tired of listening to her either. Reality is the record business is tough, and if you don't sell records, the powers that be won't let you make records. Don't ever assume you artist will be back. Haley has five songs that have stayed on iTunes Top 200 (don't think an Idol has ever done that) so please buy Haley songs and let them know we want more Haley music!
If I've said it once, I'll say it a thousand times, HALEY was the best performer of Season 10 American Idol. She has that special something that wins over many new fans, who appreciate her talent and diversity. No more power voting to stand in her way toward success. Your true fans will always support you, and you will always entertain us with your special gifts.
Now that Idol is over, Haley is the one that's " IN IT TO WIN IT ".
Thank you for keep rooting to our Haley .. She always take my breath away with her amazing performance.. Her u see that she don't need instruments to make her sound better .. Her voice alone is enough to make u dissolve in Haleys world.. Great future waiting for our rock star.
Love Kelly's remark at 4:02..."You are something else"...Haley is something else, no one like her. This girl has star power both vocally and visually. I'll buy anything she records.
