'X Factor': Cheryl Cole saga continues, Paula Abdul left out of the loop.
The rumors of Cheryl Cole being booted from the US "X Factor" judges' panel continue to run rampant, with no comment from Simon Cowell or FOX execs. One person who has spoken publicly about it is fellow judge Paula Abdul... who essentially had no idea what was going on. At a press event in Singapore, Abdul was asked about the judge shake-up, and she was as clueless as ever."This is all news to me, I was travelling you know, I'm fifteen hours ahead and apparently it has captured the news while I was travelling, I am just finding out things as you are," she says. "I don't know any information, I don't know whether or not it's true. You probably know more than I do."
She does, however, counter rumors that a lack of chemistry between them was part of the reason Cole was ousted. "All I can tell you is that she is lovely, and I was really excited about the relationship and friendship we were forging and regardless I am looking forward to continuing with that. She's wonderful," she says.
Meanwhile, the UK's Mirror reports that Cowell is "begging" Cole to head up the UK version of "X Factor" as a consolation prize now that her big American debut has been thwarted. Additionally, "The Voice," which has made a splash with US audiences, is now moving over to the BBC, and Cole is apparently being courted for that gig as well.
"It would be a fresh start for her and would mean she could work with people who she trusts and who have her best interests at heart. It would also be a great way of sticking two fingers up at Simon Cowell," says a source at her record company, who notes that Cole has only been offered half of her previous "X Factor" salary to return to the UK version.

If I were Cheryl I would stick my two fingers to Cowell and Syco and work on my music and accept the role on The Voice
Cheryl's recent setback does not mean that she will not crack America. A lot of positives here in the US. Cheryl as all the Girls Aloud are great talents, the British People voted and got it right. Cheryl and the girls do not have a proper game plan to win over the American public. Both Cheryl and GA need targeted management to win in America. I would love to see Cheryl on America's "Dancing With The Stars". Cheryl did not storm America because she failed to show her British glamor, she dressed foolishly. Her glamor was flaunted in France and not America lately. Cheryl did not mingle with us in America and show some of that Elizabeth Taylor swagger we were waiting for. Irregardless, of her set back, she still can kill it on her second attempt with a game plan. Come on Cheryl, alter your accent, glam it up, and bring some swagger.
Cheryl Cole was born to be an international megastar. It's only a matter of time for her to conquer the entire world, United States included.
WHO THE HELL IS SHE
Cheryl seems like a nice girl, the problem is she is very unknown. In my case, I've never seen her in TV before.
I'd say stay in your own country and continue with your career.
