TV ratings: 'The Voice' drops, still solid for NBC Tuesday

Fast National ratings for Tuesday, May 10, 2011A later start for "The Voice" cost it some viewers on Tuesday, but NBC's singing competition was still the night's top show among adults 18-49. The "Dancing With the Stars" results show was up a bit from last week, while "Glee" and "NCIS" were both steady -- albeit at the lower end of their range for this season.
CBS led the night overall with 14.5 million viewers and a 9.2 rating/15 share in households. ABC (12.8 million, 8.3/13) was a solid second. NBC came in third with 8 million viewers and a 4.9/8, beating out FOX (6.7 million, 4.1/6). The CW (1.3 million, 0.8/1) trailed.
Thanks to "The Voice," NBC led the adults 18-49 demographic with a 3.3 rating. CBS, 2.8, narrowly beat FOX, 2.7, for second place, while ABC was not far behind with a 2.4. The CW drew a 0.5 in the demo.

As someone who is very honestly enjoying The Voice, I was very confused when I got to my TV to watch the show - only to realize that it was on at 10PM! Who made that decision? Terrible mistake (par for course with NBC, I suppose).
Whoever is running NBC seems to lack sensible reasoning. Why would you move a show that's doing so well in an earlier timeslot, that young folk are watching to 10:00 p.m? NBC's decisions continue to bemuse me.
NBC is the most stupidest network all their shows are just pure crap.
Yeah. Definitely a weird decision moving it to 10:00. It's there first mild hit in about a decade and they decide to mess with it? Doesn't make a lot of sense. I assume when they get to the live shows in a couple weeks, they'll have to move it again.
Airing The Voice at 10pm makes absolutely NO sense!!! They need to move it earlier. I want to see it go head to head with American Idol and watch it destroy it.
PLEASE PLEASE give this new show a fair chance! I have liked it better each week, and after watching the first battle rounds, will now be a solid fan! I like music competition shows, and still plan to stick with AI till it finally dies. BUT, this could be a great replacement or show to watch when AI isn't on. SYTYCD found it's success as a summer show. Maybe that's the best way to go with the VOICE too.
I think 10pm is a great time for The Voice, with Christina looking like a pig and young people listening to hot trendy singers liek Britney, Madonna, Ke$hia, no one really like has been miss piggy Christina, she is almost as much of a fat pig as poor mimi.
body of Proof was great last night, nice to see much better than actinga t 10 pm than teh stupid goodwive, cant wait for the shockings eason finalle of the body of proof next week.
NBC really is stupid. Even if they had to air the Biggest Loser on Tuesday night, they could air The Voice at any time slot any other night of the week -- since it has no other even remotely decent shows on their entire schedule. Also, no surprise to see M EOW/Donna saying her usual stupid crap again! And don't you dare impersonate me again with that Paul Reiser ****.

Instead of spending your time trashing other people (who are infinitely more successful than you are, or will ever be), how about you spend your time mastering the lost art of “spelling” or “grammar” so that you don’t seem so stupid while trying to bring others down.
