This chart is messed up you guys.
Predicated upon your published viewer numbers, the real 8 pm winner was Flashpoint with 6.8 million viewers and the 10 pm winner was Blue Bloods with a whopping 10 million viewers. By the way, Blue Bloods had the largest viewing audience of all last night’s shows. Do you actually read these numbers prior to writing your story?
If all you count are people between the ages of 18 to 49, then your ratings winners are predicated upon a bogus count. The implication is that anyone below 18 years of age or above 49 years of age are non-entities. You can inform the sponsors and the networks that people outside their precious 18 to 49 demographic do exist! Here is another bit of obvious information; the “outsiders” actually spend their money purchasing consumer products. How foolish to simply ignore a massive group of people who certainly exert a large influence on what is purchased on a daily basis. Peace.
Flashpoint did pretty well. But I still hate to say it, The Defenders was pulling in 8.5 million. CBS should have no choice but to bring it back, but the last few years they have been making bad choices on what friday shows to keep and let go so we will see.
