'True Blood' sneak peek: The fairies get 'sinister,' reveals writer
We've heard more than a few fans refer to the fairyland in "True Blood" as coming off a bit, well, like a commercial for feminine hygiene products. But, in a new sneak peek at the first three minutes of Season 4 and as one of the writers reveals, the fairies have everyone fooled.
"Let me address one thing and it's an interesting phenomena on the show because in the age of the Internet it's very easy to find out what your audience thinks about everything," says scriptwriter Brian Bruckner according to The Vault.
"People were sort of unanimously not thrilled with fairyland," he continues. "But I do want to say that this isn't actually fairyland. It's a hallucinatory dream and it's what fairies are presenting about themselves to try to get Sookie to come with them. So, think of it as a trap and the real fairy is going to be something very, very different and more sinister. I promise."
That becomes clear in the first three minutes of the Season 4 premiere available from HBO Go.

I CAN'T WAIT !
Just saw 8 minutes of True Blood on HBO GO and I'm so bummed! It looks like a cross between something from Star Trek and Planet Of the Apes with some tween witch-craft that they picked up from watching a few "Charmed" re-runs. They can't steer any further away from the books if they try. What's the deal with the pointy-eared elf freaks who can throw laser guided fire balls?!?! What a disaster! Didn't they do any test groups before they decided this was actually good? They've reverted back to the same weird crap they did in Season 2 that should have been a couple episodes and dragged out for the entire season. UGH!
We only watch TV on Sunday evening! Don't douche it up!
