It's not much. But we'll take it.

"Torchwood: Miracle Day" has thus far only teased its upcoming Starz run with cryptic, artsy promos containing title art and a shot of a globe on the verge of detonation. Now they're finally rolling out some meatier spots.

IO9 points to this 10-second clip which, while brief, does show returning cast members John Barrowman and Eve Myles joined by new additions Mekhi Phifer, Bill Pullman and Lauren Ambrose. Also? Explosions!

It's just what we've been waiting for, but at the moment, we're a bit more preoccupied with some gossip coming from the "Torchwood" front. Writer Jane Espenson (of "Buffy" and "Battlestar Galactica" fame) joins creator Russell T. Davies in penning the new season, and she recently announced a companion web series... starring Eliza Dushku?

It sure seems that way. Teasing "Torchwood: Web of Lies," Espenson writes that she has "faith" in the project and that "it's tru" that there's "an echo" of her past work. For those of you in the know, these are the names of the three characters Dushku is best known for playing on TV -- all three series ("Buffy," "Tru Calling," Dollhouse") of which Espenson helped write and produce.

"Miracle Day" is set to premiere July 9, so more info on "Web of Lies" can't be that far off.
