'The Finder' video clip: How will the 'Bones' spin-off look on its own?

"The Finder" stands out among most additions to the new season -- because its technically the only series we've already seen.

The backdoor pilot for the "Bones" spin-off debuted on April to an 11-million-strong audience. But this week, we can't help but feel like that's a bit of a handicap.

With dozens of shiny new shows getting the green light and hours' worth of clips debuting online during upfront week, "The Finder" has released the largely anticlimactic recap of the episode we already saw. Even worse, it's still got to contend with the overshadowing presence of "Bones" stars Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz.

That's not to say things don't look good for the series. When Deschanel's maternity leave interrupts the "Bones" season, "Finder" will enter mid-season in the very attractive post-"American Idol" time slot. And stars Geoff Stults and Michael Clarke Duncan put in a lot of face time at the FOX party -- though co-star Saffron Burrows was absent. (Maybe she's working on a less distracting accent?)

It's unfair to expect more from the series so soon. But we've seen this already. And we're ready for more.
