'Ringer': Extended trailer for Sarah Michelle Gellar series packed with exposition
The CW released three clips for "Ringer," Sarah Michelle Gellar's return to TV, at the network upfronts.
We watched them repeatedly, digested them, and less than a week later we already want more.
Fortunately, PopWrap brings our attention to a new extended trailer that doesn't just tease what's in store for "Ringer," it crams what looks to be the whole pilot into three minutes.
Each twin gets a bit of a background, the cause of their rift is further hinted at (we're looking at you, absentee child in photo) and one of premise's intentionally unanswered questions is possibly answered.
It also highlights the pilot's handsome New York setting, previously unseen costars and introduces a tension that didn't grab us right off the bat with the first 30-second spots.
Now the only problem is that we don't think we can wait for the show to premiere to see more:
