'Revenge' video clip: Emily VanCamp seeks vengeance in ABC's new drama

ABC has turned to classic literature for the inspiration for its soapy new drama "Revenge."The series, which will air at 10 p.m. ET Wednesdays in the fall, is based loosely on "The Count of Monte Cristo" as it follows a young woman (Emily VanCamp of "Brothers & Sisters" and "Everwood") who's out to bring down the wealthy, powerful people who ruined her family.
She returns to her former home in the Hamptons and sets out to get her own kind of justice. The show from creator Mike Kelley ("Swingtown") also stars Madeleine Stowe, Gabriel Mann, Ashley Madekwe, Henry Czerny, Nick Wechsler, Josh Bowman, Christa B. Allen and Connor Paolo. The show looks good,I'm already looking forward to this fall.Emily is a talented young actress.My only problem is alot of the shows I want to watch are on Wednesday,X Factor,Harry's Law,L&O:SVU and Revenge,it will be a busy fall.
I love Emily, and I'll definitely be watching this!!!
I hope this is successful, I like the premise and VanCamp, but ABC's scheduling is odd.
i've seen the previews for this female verison of the count of monte cristo and i have to say, its got potential to be a great show from the begining until it ends in the future. as of now, i'm working on my own count of monte cristo story to set in china and japan.
