Rachael Ray, Guy Fieri: Culinary 'Dancing With the Stars' launching this summer
On Wednesday's (May 11) "Rachael Ray Show," host Rachael Ray (fresh off a Daytime Emmy nomination) welcomed four celebrity chefs on to talk about how they got started cooking and to show off one of their favorite recipes each to the audience and viewers. One of the celebrity chefs was Guy Fieri, winner of Season 2 of "The Next Food Network Star" and host of "Guy's Big Bites," "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" and "Minute to Win It." During Guy's segment on "Rachael Ray," the pair announced a new show they are launching that Rachael describes as "the cooking equivalent of 'Dancing With the Stars.'"
Fieri went on to say the competition is a "brother and sister culinary battle," as he considers Rachael his "sister from another mister." The show is going to feature celebrities with varying degrees of culinary ability to come on the show and compete in two teams of five. "Rachael's going to get five, I'm going to get five and it's going to be battle royale!" teases Fieri.
The show will debut sometime this summer on the Food Network. Who are some of the celebs you'd like to see join?

I must say I would never watch this show; I was previously a fan of Rachael's, but never one of Guy's - he irks me. My current beef is the whole ABC soaps debacle - I could see where the culinary folks would come out in favor of their peeps on the new show "The Spew", er "The Chew", but the fact that Rachael acted so in favor of it after she's spent so much time showcasing actors from ABC soaps and now they are losing their jobs on a show that's been on for 41 years is heinous and I've stopped watching ABC TV programs because of it. So, won't be watching this new show of theirs, whether it is on ABC or not. We don't need anymore reality television!
I think Regis Philbin would be hysterical on a cooking show. He's really funny when he tries to do those cooking segments on Live! and I suspect he would be equally entertaining on Rachael and Guy's new venture.
Smooshiest : Take a hike maybe they cancell you.
The world will NOT end on May 21. That has now been moved to whatever date this show premiers.
I would definitely watch this show. I love both Rachel and Guy. When does the show start?
