'Pretty Little Liars'' Lucy Hale: 'Someone else catches Aria's eye'
Attention "Ezria" fans: Prepare yourselves for a new love interest to come in and shake things up for your favorite couple on "Pretty Little Liars."That's right. A new Rosewood guy will be giving Ezra (Ian Harding) some competition for Aria's (Lucy Hale) heart.
We sat down with Hale at ABC Family's summer press day on May 14, where she revealed Aria will in fact be caught in a love triangle in Season 2: "There's someone else that catches Aria's eye who is more age-appropriate."
"It's very interesting," Hale says of the love triangle. "Because I think it makes her realize how much she really is risking by being with Ezra."
Hale couldn't reveal who the new love interest is -- "I can't say!" -- but teases, "The two guys are completely different, like, couldn't be more opposite." One "PLL" guy who is out of the running? Noel (Brant Daugherty). "Noel is not in the love triangle," she says. "But he is involved in the second season." Cryptic? Yes. But it's "Pretty Little Liars." We expect nothing less.
It seems like whoever this mystery guy is has seriously caught Aria's attention as Hale says, "I don't know which guy she's going to choose." Sounds pretty serious, no?

Just some helpful advice Tierney, you really need to leave high school behind. It's just sad watching old people live vicariously through teenager TV characters.
I think everyone knows that this new person is just a typical plot contrivance, but it's only temporary and soon the giggly little teenage fans will get to see Aria back sleeping with her old teacher. How romantic and this site promotes it, but judging by this article, it's easy to see why.
People don't understand how terrible these statutory rape relationships actually are because the characters are always played by actresses in their 20s. If there was an actual 16 year old playing Aria, people would freak out.

If you don't like the show, why are you constantly reading articles about it? I'm sure there are other shows that meet your obviously high standards that you can read about and comment on instead.
Also, I'm 22 years-old (So I guess I qualify as an old person?) and doing my job -- covering a show that is my beat. C
Just some helpful advice Mrs. Obama, stop commenting on my articles if it has nothing to do with the show. If you feel like constantly berating me for doing my job, I suggest you just don't read my articles.

Mrs. O, what an ignorant comment. If only highschoolers should watch highschool shows does that mean only vampires should watch the vampire diaries? Might be hard to get ratings that way. Should only doctors watch Grey's Anatomy?

I'm glad Aria has someone else to look forward to next season. As much as I like her relationship with Ezra, it's just too risky and I feel like it might be fated to be doomed. I welcome the new guy, but I was hoping Noel was done with. The dude is a douche.
I love Aria and Ezra together. And they both love each other, so I hope that guy doesnt ruin everything!
I think that Aria should get with someone out of town, whose moved there. Someone new, fresh. Not a jock, geek or bad boy, but not a charmer, a goofer or her TEACHER!!! No offense Ezra fans, I think Ezra and Aria make a great couple, even their names sound soooo similar. But don't you think that this is unfair to the both of them, i mean, they can't even go out in public without people staring and whispering, plus it could ruin Ezra's career. Aria needs someone a little more age appropriate, so that she can have a normal relationship. Not that i have a thing against older boys, i mean i have a huge things for Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Channing Tatum, Taylor Lautner and Alex Pettyfer, and they're all over 4 years older than me!!!! But it could work out: between Ezra and Aria, and me and one of the mentioned above!!!!!!! Tee-hee!!!
