James Durbin's 'Love Potion No. 9' rocks the 'American Idol' stage

GoogleIn addition to getting to dance with Lady Gaga, James Durbin took to the stage during the "American Idol" Top 4 and slayed his second performance. He has easily come out the best of the four finalists left.
His "Love Potion No. 9" was an odd choice to us (at first). But he proved us very, very wrong. It completely rocked. He managed to make a very dated song sound extremely current (and hard-core and manly).
The judges loved it. J.Lo expressed the same trepidation about James handling the Leiber and Stoller songbook choices, but admits she was completely wrong to doubt him after that performance. So is it just a matter of who joins James in the finals now?

I respectfully disagree. I thought he was way pitchy again tonight.
Not only was James pitchy (as usual), his version of "Love Potion No. 9" that sounded "extremely current" could have come straight off of Ugly Kid Joe's "America's Least Wanted."
I thought James performances rocked! He is an amazing performer, and I love the singing! Rock hard James!
Yeah, James was badly off-key on both songs & thats 3 in row now. But the gyro & pyro seemed to put him over with the Judges...are their ears plugged?

I am tired of hearing all the positives from the judges especially in regards to the performances of Lauren and Scotty last night! The judges have nothing but good things to say about them but dog unfairly on Haley. Be fair!
James, you are one of the best i have heard yet.
The people finally got rid of James. Amen. For once we won't have a rocker. I don't care which one wins we finally have 3 great singers.
