Did Lauren Alaina knock you 'Flat on the Floor' on 'American Idol'?

Lauren Alaina took on Carrie Underwood's "Flat on the Floor" for her contemporary song during the "American Idol" Top 5 "Now and Then" theme. It was a bold choice, but since Carrie is definitely an Idol Lauren should be styling herself after, also a solid choice.

We thought it was lacked a little punch in the beginning, but Lauren found her groove and really let it loose in the second half. The judges and crowd seemed really into it and it was definitely the most relaxed and fun-having we've seen Lauren all season.

Randy told her it was exactly the type of stuff she needs to record and J.Lo loved how much she loosened up. What did you guys think? Were knocked flat on the floor by Lauren Alaina?

She sounded awful - tuneless screech. I hope she goes home.

It's a good attempt. It was weak at parts due to her shortness of breath but overall still good.

I thought Lauren was awesome...solid and one of the best of the night.

The judges lied lAST NIGHT ! TERRIBLE, I'M SORRY and Nigel wants her in the finale. Haley was so much better and I'm not a Haley fan.

Haley's second performance, but her first was the worst of the night. Both of Lauren's songs were better than Haley's first song. That was one of the worst of the year.

girls got a beautiful angelic voice and i am no country lover but she can even sing POP she really has natural talent and with lessons she will go to the stars
