'Dancing With the Stars' results: Romeo art out of the competition
There was an uneasy feeling in our stomach for the entire "Dancing With the Stars" results show. Week 8 marks the final obstacle before the semifinals -- and all five stars clearly want to make it. Each of them, for one reason or another, does deserve a place in the penultimate performance night. But someone had to go home, and it ended up being Romeo and partner Chelsie Hightower.
It's not that much of a surprise. Romeo and Ralph Macchio were in the bottom spots at the end of the episode, after Chelsea Kane was quite deservedly told she was safe. And though he didn't score as low as his senior competitor, Ralph's been a favorite since week 1 and his injury clearly garnered him a lot of favor with fans and voters.
So what do you think... Should Ralph's injury have knocked him out of the competition? Or had Romeo run his course?

Why is Kirstie still there?????
The judges are way off base she is the real weak link.
It is a popularity contest .
Kristie need to go or it is not "who is the best dancer?">>>>it is purely a popularity contest and not a dance contest.
The judges should be ashamed of themselves. They pick and choose this season who they like, not even considering the dancing abilities. Thank goodness for the people who call in their votes!!!
Personally, I think Ralph should have gone before Romeo. Romeo is a better dancer.
If Kristi wins this competition I will never watch this show again as she is terrible.

Kirstie is just NOT that good. It's sad that Romeo, who is a much better dancer than Kirstie, had to go home. People may love K.A.'s personality, but her dancing sucks. Oh well. It IS a popularity contest. That will never change; it's part of DWTS's charm.
Romeo should've stayed. He surpassed Ralph. Ralph isn't well enough to continue. Thus Romeo was cheated. Kirstie will never win. They're keeping her in reserve for the last week. n that's fine with me. I love Maks!
Ralph is the best of all the dancers there this season. I feel bad that he has hurt his leg/knee, but, if it does heal, he will be the winner, the rest will have to go home empty handed.
I love this show, but I don't care for the popularity contest, it is about who is the best dancer and not who has the most fans. Tuesday nights should be just an hour and just about the contestant, two hours is just too long.
