ABC picks up 'Charlie's Angels,' 'Good Christian Belles' and ten more
After canceling "V," "Brothers & Sisters" and five other shows, ABC has given series orders to twelve pilots.
ABC has picked up dramas "Charlie's Angels," "Good Christian Belles," "Pan Am," "Revenge," The River," "Scandal" and "Once Upon a Time." Comedies "Last Man Standing," "Work It," "Suburgatory," "Man Up" and "Apartment 23" were also picked up to series, Deadline reports.
"Charlie's Angels" stars Minka Kelly, Rachael Taylor and Annie Ilonzeh in a modern take on the '70s series. "Good Christian Belles" (formerly "Good Christian Bitches") stars Leslie Bibb as a former high school mean girl who moves back home after her marriage ends. Kristin Chenoweth and Annie Potts also star in the series from "Sex and the City" creator Darren Star.
"Scandal" is from "Grey's Anatomy" creator Shonda Rhimes and stars "Lost's" Henry Ian Cusick and Kerry Washington as a professional fixer. Emily VanCamp stars in the Count of Monte Cristo-inspired soap "Revenge" and "The River" follows a team searching for a missing adventurer in the Amazon.
"Once Upon a Time" is a fantasy drama starring Jennifer Morrison as a woman who is drawn into a town where fairy tales might be real. Ginnifer Goodwin co-stars as Snow White and Josh Dallas plays Prince Charming. Christina Ricci stars in "Pan Am," a soap set in the '60s that focuses on stewardesses and pilots.
"Apartment 23" stars Dreama Walker as girl who moves in with her worst nightmare in New York City, Krysten Ritter. James Van Der Beek co-stars as himself. Tim Allen stars in "Last Man Standing" as man's man living in a world dominated by women.

I won't be watching any of them!! ABC is the most idiotic network in existence!!! They never give their new shows a chance to develop an audience because they just cancel them all. They've done it to me over and over and over again so I'm not going to watch any of their new shows. ABC can go to HELL!!!!!
@David
It's hard to agree with you when they allowed 'Castle' time to find its audience and grow. Heck, they even gave 'Pushing Daisies', 'Eli Stone', 'Dirty Sexy Money', and 'V' a reprieve to try and find more viewers, and it just didn't happen.
Dude calm down...its tv for gods sake..get a life.leave your parents basement...meet girls or something...but remember its tv and only tv..life goes on!
V was cancelled for this crap batch? The only show that sounds even halfway interesting is Pan Am. Very disappointed in ABC.
I'm saddened and very disappointed that Brothers & Sisters has been cancelled but they keep crap like Desperate housewives.....I don't think that there is much on ABC left to watch....in other words, I'll be checking out the new shows on other channels...
ONE YEAR FROM TODAY NEWS PREDICTION:
ABC cancels all 10 new shows because Mickey gets bored easily
And checkout the slaughter ABC has done with day time.
Im have been boycotting abc for a year and a half now for canceling legend of the seeker! Abc you suuuuck!

I am basically just done with prime time. I understand now why reality shows rule - because fans of dramas have been slipping away and given up hope.
I was down to watching 7 shows this year, and five of them were canceled. That means I won't even know what new shows come on because I won't be watching most networks anymore, nor will I be inclined to try another new show.
Meanwhile not one of the new shows on ABC sounds like anything I would even be interested in.
Funny, I have good "disposable income", I buy from advertisers but apparently I guess the advertisers want viewers who can't tell shinola from the other stuff, possibly because then they will be more likely to buy shoddy goods? I don't know, must be some reason though.
The whole ongoing enterprise that is primetime tv is losing another customer. Oh well, one day they will discover something even cheaper and more insipid than reality shows and then the reality shows will go the way of prime time dramas.
