'X Factor' judge L.A. Reid seems confident Cheryl Cole is onboard
Pop singer Cheryl Cole has been "in the mix" for one of the judging spots on FOX's "X Factor" since the show was announced. But, has the UK "X Factor" judge really jumped the pond?
EW reports confirmed judge L.A. Reid seemed pretty confident she's onboard in a recent interview.
"We're gonna compete against 'American Idol' just fine," Reid says. "I'm very confident. But along with Simon Cowell and Cheryl, I don't know who the other judge is."
Maybe, he was just being confident? Period.
According to the site's sources close to production, Cole is still in talks to join. And FOX declined to confirm pending their own official announcement.
Let's say Cole does sign on. Who do you think they'll need to complete the judging panel and really compete for viewers' attention versus "Idol"?
