TV Ratings: 'Girls Night Out' wins for CBS; 'Friday Night Lights' up, 'Fringe' slips

carrie-underwood-how-great-thou-art.jpgFast National ratings for Friday, April 23, 2011

CBS was on top as usual, despite "CSI: NY" being a rerun. The Eye can thank the "Superstar Women of Country," which brought in an average of almost 8.5 million viewers. "Friday Night Lights" saw an uptick from last week. Sorry, "Fringe" fans (of which we are among) - it slipped again.

CBS averaaged 7.7 million viewers and a 4.8 rating/9 share in households to win the night. NBC was next with 5.3 million, 3.5/6, following by ABC at 4.4 million, 2.9/5. FOX was fourth at 3.1 million, 1.9/3 and the CW put up a solid 2.1 million, 1.3/2.

In the 18-49 demo, nobody blew anything out of the water. CBS led with a 1.4, NBC and ABC tied for second at 1.2, FOX earned a 1.1 and the CW was at 0.9.

Sad how Andrew is jelous of the great talented beautiful Katy Perry so she has to trash her performance on idiol in Thursday. Why do fat girls hate pretty skinny talented ladies like Katy perry and Britney spears ??????

One word, J.J. Arabams.

Supernatural was great on Friday. I loved all of the movie references.
