'The Celebrity Apprentice': Mark McGrath gets run over by a Busey

We're sure that when Gary Busey walks back into the TV room after surviving Sunday's (April 10) boardroom on "The Celebrity Apprentice," the men's team will have a collective stroke. Not only have they lost pop-rocker Mark McGrath, one of their best players, but now they still have who they perceive to be their worst player still around.

To quickly recap, the teams were asked to create an outside attraction using a glass box and its surroundings to market Australian Gold sunscreen products. The men did their usual risky take on the challenge by going with a pirate theme and the idea of found treasure. The women also went with their usual M.O. and translated the company's marketing theme literally and in line with the company's current advertising with several outdoors scenes, their Koala Bear mascot and bikini-clad girls in gold.

The company liked the men's ingenuity, but didn't feel their marketing message was used much in their display. So, the women took the challenge win and project leader, La Toya Jackson, won herself another week. By the way, La Toya may not be the most decisive leader, but she has proven herself to be quite the fighter.

In the final boardroom, it was down to Gary and project leader Mark. Gary had been purposely given tasks that would keep him out of the other guys' way, but several spoken snafus to the executives didn't sit well with them or his teammates. Yet, Mark sealed his fate when he said that if the team lost he would take all the responsibility.

Later, when the men found out that they indeed lost, Mark's story changed: He would take all the responsibility if the theme was the reason he lost. Regardless, the first rule of "Apprentice" is to never admit that you're at fault especially if you're the project manager. It's a given that the first finger will be pointed at the leader, so it's their job to get it pointing to someone else.

Donald Trump won't forget that you were so willing to give it all up and nine times out of ten, he'll fire you regardless of how well you fight later in the boardroom.

Up until this point, the men have been doing themselves a disservice. They've been practically covering up for Gary's flights of fancy by giving him busy work and not speaking to his faults until after they're declared the losers. So, Trump pretty much got the full story all at once when they rallied to keep one of their best players from the chopping block. So, now he has a better idea of what Gary's like on challenges. We predict that next week the men's team won't apply the same bro code to Gary again.

Did you agree with Mark leaving or do you think Trump fired the wrong guy?

I think Mark deserves to stay, mainly due to Gary not being a team player, sexist and really unethical by pitching himself on the job for his charity no less. Trump fired the wrong guy! Trump likes people to eat their words, I just wish Mark haven't offer to go home in the first place..even Donald Jr. (who tried) can't save him.

I think that Gary deserved to go home. He actually should have gone home last week. I believe that Trump is keeping him around for the ratings. Gary's a train wreck!!

Gary obviously won't be the apprentice so Trump must be keeping him for ratings. Meatloaf had the anger attack, so he will go after Gary. I think the men will be between Lil Jon and John Rich.

I think Marlee will be the top women left unless Hope shows something at the last minute. La toya is too laid back and Star and Nene are always pointing fingers at someone and seem too uptight about everything.

Wow, I can't understand huge arguments for the WINNING team. NeNe is HORRBILE!! I really don't like when people compare her to Star. NeNe is ghetto. Star is not. She's direct, to the point, and a backstabber. In other words a lawyer and very well educated. Gary amazes me!! He gets in the boardroom and is completely sane looking at all of the men wondering what they are talking about. He's really playing a game. John Rich is my favorite, but enough with the hillbillies. Mark was my second favorite and sad to see him leave. What is Hope's purpose on the show? Hopefully she will step up at some point. Marlee and Jon are the ones to beat.

Trump DEFINITELY fired the WRONG guy.
Gary telling that female executive that the product made him "feel sexual" was totally unprofessional and WAY out of line.
And when he "kidnapped" the executives on site , Good Grief !

Those guys didn't have a chance of winning.
There was no way those female executives were gonna vote for the men. NO WAY !

On the womens side...

NeNe's behavior was totally unprofessional as well. She is such a bully.

I am so upset that Mark left. Trump is clearly keeping Gary for rating. Horrible decision.

If Mark hadn't said what he did, Gary would of been fired..sorry to see Mark go. The men are going to be really PO on the next episode.

I think it will be between Marlee and John Rich in the end.
And least I hope Marlee can oust Star . lol
I tend to think John Rich is the favorite to win.
He is a REALLY close friend of Trumps both professionally and politically

Trump's a total idiot. He fired the wrong guy last night! And Gary Busey is either totally self-oblivious or the world's greatest liar! And for Ivanka to sit there and say "you did the right thing" made me lose all respect for her!

Trump is a fool... he wants to be president???? He obviously he either really stupid or untrustworthy. Mark was awesome. I guess it is all fixed.
