Syfy's 'Almighty Thor' hoping you can't get tickets to 'Thor'

We're proud to share with you these pictures of the two stars of a movie about the Norse god Thor. No, not that one.The two men to the left are the stars of Syfy's movie "Almighty Thor": Cody Deal is the title character, and Richard Grieco is his nemesis, Loki. The movie premieres Saturday, May 7, one day after the somewhat more generously budgeted "Thor" arrives in theaters.
"Thor" -- the one with Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman -- will likely be a hot ticket. So if your local theater sells out, you can always stay home and watch "Almighty Thor." Syfy describes the movie, which also stars Patricia Velasquez ("The Mummy Returns") and pro wrestler Kevin Nash as Odin, this way: "In 'Almighty Thor,' a volcanic fissure bursts open in the fortress of Valhalla, freeing the demon God Loki (Grieco), who steals the Hammer of Invincibility. Loki plans to obliterate Los Angeles using the Hammer -- and Thor (Deal) is the only one who can stop him."
The movie will (presumably) also answer the question of why Thor wears a trench coat:
Plus, there's a dragon. Does Marvel's "Thor" have a dragon? Yeah, didn't think so.
"Almighty Thor" airs on Syfy at 9 p.m. ET Saturday, May 7.

The Marvel movie sort of had a dragon, yes.
I guess that the people in this section,don't know about a little known fact,Loki can not use the Hammer of Thor,only Thor can wellled this Hammer.The Marvel comics of Thor & Loki as children and later on when Loki tricked Thor so he could trade places with Thor(Loki took Thors Body,and Thor Was transplanted into Lokis Body)so as to pick up the Hammer.The Hammer bonds itself to only one God,like King Aurthor before being crowned as king,was the only one who could remove the Sword from the Stone.The Hammer can only be welleded by one that is worthy,Loki tried to as a young boy and couldn't pick the hammer up,Thor than tried and was able to pick up the same hammer,which of course was the start of his hatred of Thor,vowed to hurt his Halfbrother Thor,his later use of the black arts,so as to kill,or at the least put Thor out of the way.So you'll also se his Hammer as a triangle at times or Metal instead of a form of rock like materal.It looks to much like these people didn't want to find out about alot of the stuff in Thors life,and that Thor would use a weapon,like the man made weapon called machine gun.A question that bothers me,why can't these people use their heads,find out who Thor is.Loki Odin,all the others that are important in the life of the Norse people.
We all know Thor was really a cute little gray alien that used superior technology to make him look human. Too bad Thor and the Asgard blew up their planet and committed suicide. It was nice of them to give us superior FTL drives, weapons and beaming technology before they offed themselves.
Is that a dragon? Looks more like a dog to me. Meh.
I'm very disappointed. I thought this would be another cool super hero type movie, but it's got to be one of the most pathetic movies to ever have come out. The writers, producers, and anyone else involved with putting this together, and offering it to the public, should be made to stand and watch this "movie" for without a break for the next year. Then either placed in solitary confinement or go into hiding for the rest of their lives. What a waste of an hour and a half!
