'South Park' Season 15 premiere: 'HUMANCENTiPAD' is unleashed on the world

"South Park" is back on Comedy Central Wednesday night (April 27) to kick off its 15th season. The target of its most recent episode? The hullabaloo surrounding the iPad and iPad 2 with the introduction of the "HUMANCENTiPAD."

This preview clip says the "HUMANCENTiPAD" will "revolutionize the way we use our phones and tablet devices," then in typical "South Park" fashion, cuts to a disturbing image of a diaper-clad family "enjoying" their "HUMANCENTiPAD."

The show got a new deal with Comedy Central to keep it on the air through 2013, so it should go at least two more seasons. Fourteen episodes will air in 2011 - 7 episodes will air in the spring/summer of 2011 and the remaining 7 are expected to air during the animated show's usual fall time. That will bring the grand total to 223 episodes.

"South Park" premieres Wednesday night at 10 p.m. ET on Comedy Central. Do you think the "HUMANCENTiPAD" will go down as one of "South Park's" great attacks on pop culture?

UPDATE: A previous version of the article identified Season 15 as the possible last season of the show. The article has been corrected, we apologize for the error.

It's 14 episodes TOTAL, not 14 in spring and 7 more in fall. Every season since 2004 has had 7 in the spring and 7 in the fall, and the new season is part of that deal (I assume it was a typo in the article though). South Park is one of Comedy Centrals's highest rated shows, so I think whether it continues or not is up to Matt Stone and Trey Parker. I am excited about the new season.

Yes, TJ, I'm sorry, that was a brain fart. 7 and 7 and I wrote 14.

don't think they will cancel..its got life left in it..
