'The Voice': Host Carson Daly answers Zap2it reader questions and his fave gets a shout out!
NBC's "The Voice" is picking up steam for its premiere on April 26 and here's your chance to find out more! Host Carson Daly will be answering questions exclusively for Zap2it readers.
"The Voice" is America's next big singing competition with a twist. Instead of judges, there are four coaches: Pop diva Christina Aguilera, Maroon 5's Adam Levine, funk singer Cee Lo Green, and country artist Blake Shelton. They'll do their best to find America's next big singing star, but ultimately that decision will be made by you.
Do you want to know more about the blind round in which the coaches hear the contestants sing without knowing what they look like? Are you wondering what Carson thinks each coach brings to their team in the way of skills, connections, and industry knowledge? Do you want to know what kinds of songs are planned?
You can ask anything you want and here's your chance to get the answers!

How about a real prize? Like replacing Carson Daly as the host of The Voice? He's unbearable to watch.
Bwahahahahaha best comment of the day!!! ITA, please replace him stat! Out of the three singing competitions, I give this one the least chance of surviving.
How does Carson plan to make sure he sets himself apart from rival singing competition host Ryan? Less cheese? Less flat iron? More harshness? How involved will he be with the contestants?
Also! Ask him about his personal, always-evolving role in discovering musicians over the years, helping their careers and how that role has developed with the different changes in popular media. Out with music videos in with reality shows! (Through his DJing, TRL!, his talk show, now The Voice, which I am totally gonna watch). I love Carson. haha

Does he think the "blind round" will affect ratings at all if one of the coaches chooses a person with a pretty spectacular voice and a less than marketable appearance?
Awesome...I was excited to see this show until I found out Carson Daly would be hosting. He gives me the creeps and is dullllllllll.
