President Obama to appear on 'Oprah'; Jessica Lange joins 'Glee' creator's FX pilot
President Barack Obama and possibly The First Lady will be appearing on one of the "The Oprah Winfrey Show's" final episodes. He will shoot it on April 27 for a May 2 airing. [EW]
Jessica Lange has signed on to the FX pilot, "American Horror Story" from "Glee's" creator Ryan Murphy and producer Brad Falchuk. This would be the film star's first-ever TV series. [Deadline]
In addition to "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," Bravo has given three other summer series premiere dates. "Million Dollar Decorators," which follows the work and lives of Los Angeles interior decorators, premieres Tuesday, May 31 at 10 p.m. ET. "Rocco's Dinner Party," the much-anticipated competition series starring celeb chef Rocco DiSpirito, premieres Wednesday, June 15 at 11 p.m. ET. And singer Jewel, and "ex-American Idol" judge Kara DioGuardi's return to TV, "Platinum Hit," premieres Monday, May 30 at 10 p.m. ET. [Bravo]
On Wednesday, April 20 at 10 a.m. ET, Martha Stewart will be celebrating her 1000th episode of "The Martha Stewart Show" on the Hallmark Channel. The live episode features appearances by Seth Meyers, Mario Batali, who holds the appearance record among chefs on the show, a behind the scenes sneak peek and special bloopers/funniest moments from the last 1000 episodes. "The Nate Berkus Show" teams up with Newark Mayor Cory Booker to celebrate the "Power of Color" with the launch of a Newark, New Jersey beautification project that will be revealed in two parts: the first installment will air Thursday, April 28 and a second segment airing in Fall 2011. Naturally. This sack of dirt is more interested in hyping his image for another election run than spending his time running the country. On the other hand, the way he's been (not) doing his job, we're probably all better off anyway.
Get over it Joe. Do you work 24 hours 7 days a week? He does get a day off every now and then. It is her last show and she was a huge supporter of his. Perhaps he is paying back the kindness that she showed to him.
