Kids' Choice Awards 2011: Willow Smith soars, back-up dancer falls
Thank heaven for little girls. For little girls sing suspended above crowds of tens of thousands every day... It's no surprise that Willow Smith killed her Kids' Choice Award performance, an aerial mash-up of "21st Century Girl" and "Whip My Hair."
What is a surprise is that the folks at Nickelodeon didn't bother to properly de-slime the stage before the final musical number of the night.
How do we know? Because one of Smith's backup dancers almost took a header off the stage when she slipped and fell. A true professional, she got right back up -- but as you can see in the clip below, it was hardly subtle.
Oh the perils of being a 21st century girl...
