Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1: Deleted scenes that'll make you say 'aw'
We have to say that even by splitting the final book, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" into two films, there were certain things we wished could have been explored more in Part 1 of the films.
So, it makes us pretty happy that the DVD special features includes some deleted scenes that fill that void for us. Yes, we know we're coming off like nerds for Harry Potter, but, eh, guilty as charged.
In the first deleted scene, we see Harry (played by Daniel Radcliffe) speaking to Aunt Petunia (Fiona Shaw). One of the most touching parts of the book occurs when the Dursleys have to go into hiding, because we learn so much about how they feel about Harry. So, we really enjoyed the scene below.
In the second deleted scene, we get to see a bit of the flirtation between Hermione (Emma Watson) and Ron (Rupert Grint) as he teaches her how to skip stones across water. We admit that the two should just give in to their urge to merge already, but the buildup can be, well, adorable.
