'Dancing with the Stars': Sugar Ray Leonard knocked out of competition

sugar-ray-cut.jpgSugar Ray Leonard, boxing legend, fought his last round on "Dancing with the Stars" on Tuesday (April 12). Leonard and partner Anna Trebunskaya became the third couple voted off this season.

They follow radio personality Mike Catherwood and partner Lacey Schwimmer and talk show host Wendy Williams and her partner, Tony Dovolani.

Annoyingly enough, Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas -- who scored Monday's highest score with their Harry Potter-themed waltz -- remained in jeopardy up until the final minute. The third couple in danger of going home this week was supermodel tsunami survivor Petra Nemcova and her partner, Dmitry Chaplin.

And despite a shoe mishap during this week's performance (this on the heels of last week's snafu), Kirstie Alley (along with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy) remain safe.

"I put up a good fight," said Leonard after the cut. Indeed he did.

Next week: Patriot's Day theme. We can hardly wait.

They only put Chelsea and Mark in the bottom to give suspence to the show. They were never in the "bottom". They just wanted to people to stick around and tune in.

I agree Donna. following the events from last weeks american idol, i have to say thats prob true. Just wanted to get a little press of how the "Highest Rated is in the bottom". Corrupt.

That might not be the case. Remember a few years ago when the Cheetah Girl, who got 10s on the very first night, was off the show WAY too soon.

I don't know whether that was a recap or a review... Liz... whatever it was pretty lame. If you don't have the time... let someone who's a little more interesting write about the show.

He was bad and needed to go.
