'Dancing With the Stars': Hines Ward, Kym Johnson no longer on top of leaderboard
NFL star Hines Ward and his professional partner Kym Johnson continued their streak of great performances on "Dancing With the Stars."The couple performed a beautiful Waltz to Boyz II Men's "End of the Road" during Guilty Pleasures Week. Their dance was so stunning, we're actually kind of shocked Hines and Kym didn't score one 10 from the judges, especially since the two couples before them -- Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas and Romeo and Chelsie Hightower -- each scored one 10.
What did the judges have to say about their Waltz?
Len Goodman: "You're becoming the MVP: Most Valued Partner because every dance you do is just great. It's got such great musicality."
Bruno Tonioli: "The performance was pure pleasure from start to finish. The chemistry you have with Kym, it really is flawless. You're meant for each other, like two birds in love."
Carrie Ann Inaba: Once again, an excellent performance. But in the beginning... it kind of seemed like you were thinking too much. It looked like you were thinking about the dance."
Each judge gave the couple a 9, giving them a 27 for the week. This puts Hines and Kym behind Romeo and Chelsie and Chelsea and Mark, who each scored a 28.
What did you think of their performance, Zappers? Do you think they deserved at least one 10?

Hines and Kym did great tonight, and the judges are lowballing them because they are the favorites to win.
completely agree with andie's comment. Hines and Kym were so much better than Romeo, and deserved AT LEAST one 10. But this season is all about how there's "not one front runner" so they're trying to keep Hines from consistently being #1. Carrie Ann was totally reaching with the "thinking too hard" comment, and luckily for Hines, since he's been so consistent, his large and evergrowing fanbase knows he outshines the rest.
I think they are trying to keep it close so they can continue to say anyone can win and draw in a crowd. They seem to be desperately trying to keep the "kids" in though with the tens.
I still believe Hines is the best and most enjoyable dancer this season.
I wanted to give my finale thoughts as a casual watcher and on some things I've noticed previously. Ralph Macchio got the highest score on the first episode. He may have that 80's movie vote the same as Jennifer had on the previous cast and won. Chelsea will make the finale FOR SURE. She's a previous Disney star. I know that two Disney stars made the finale previously. She also has a promo on the Disney channel. The judges have been scoring Kirstie well. She fell and STILL got a good score and the next week her shoe came off and still a good score. Barbara Walters had comments about the GOOD score the judges gave after she FELL. With the judges scores she could be the 3rd finalist. My prediction for the finale is Ralph, Chelsea and Kirstie.
Wow! Hines Ward and Kym Johnson chemistry and gracefullness is no doubt, the most consistent. It feels so good watching them. The truth is I only go for DWTS coz of Hines and Kym,hehehe.....
Hines and Kim have consistently been the best each week. They not only dance great but also have great chemistry. My bet is on them for the finalie for sure, with either Chelsea or Kirstie. But Hines and Kim are so perfect each week. I feel they are #1 for sure.
There's one important thing I must and honestly say. Hines and Kym deserves a 10 last night. My God! what a lovable couple on the dance floor.Kirstie, sorry to say whenever I'm watching her dance,it seems like she's drunk and yeww, the Britney Spears song dance? come on Grandma, she struggles considering that she is a moviestar. You know what I mean, golly she has to go.Peace Out!
Yes, should have been at least one 10 for Hines & Kym lst night. I lean towards Hines, Ralph, Chelsea for finals. Don't know why "they" keep giving Kirstie good marks, and that dance from her last week was horrendous! Kendra only got a 10 for the shaking, but Romeo is a good kid and fun to watch!
I was disapointed in last nites scores I thought they did great!!!
I hope Kirstie goes home soon, that outfit last nite was hideous she is not a size 6 as reported on Hollybaby, more like a size 18.
I really think if Hine's can keep the fast pace with all the dances the next few weeks that he will take the mirror ball!
