'Dancing With the Stars': Chris Irvine (not Jericho) dances for his mom
Chris Jericho dropped the pro-wrestling persona for his time on stage on "Dancing With the Stars" this week.
Chris and Cheryl Burke danced a rumba to the Beatles' "Let It Be" Monday (April 4) in tribute to his mother, who died in 2005 and who Chris said was a big fan of dance and TV dancing shows (he even name-checked "Solid Gold"). Because it was such a personal song for him, he chose to be introduced by his given name, Chris Irvine, rather than his stage name, Chris Jericho.
The judges liked how he connected with the dance emotionally but had some (valid) criticisms about the technical aspects. He scored a 21 overall, right in the middle of his scores from the first two weeks of the competition.
What did you think of the dance?
