'Braxton Family Values': Toni Braxton and her sisters give us a taste of the drama

After several months of waiting, "Braxton Family Values" is finally here and premiering Tuesday (April 12) at 9 p.m. ET on WE.
Obviously, singer Toni Braxton is the name that sells the show, but when we met up with the sisters and their mother, Evelyn, we figured out quickly that her sisters are no wallflowers.
"There's times they have their little spats," Evelyn tells Zap2it. "And are a little difficult. Nevertheless, at the end of the day, they are together, because they are each other's best friends."
"I think when you're a family when you fuss and fight," Toni adds. "You still have to get together. On other reality shows, they aren't necessarily family. So, with us, we're forced to work through it."
And when we asked the women to tell us something about the person sitting next to them, we got a little taste of the "fuss" they're capable of.
Toni is no stranger to drama. She rose to fame in the nineties with her trademark deep soulful voice, selling more than 40-million records. Since then, she's made a lot of headlines outside of her hit songs. There are two bankruptcies, several health struggles, and a very public divorce with musician Keri Lewis of the group, Mint Condition.
With this reality show, Toni and her sisters hope viewers can relate to them.
"For me, I'm using this as a platform to let a lot of women, single moms, women who are getting a divorce, artists who are going through the same things that I'm going through," Toni says. "That we're all in this together and my life could be a testimony."
"There is a Braxton girl in everybody," adds youngest sister, Tamar.

Tamar definitely doesn't rub me the right way! She wants to be just like Toni and that's easily understood but if Toni doesn't do it then neither does she! I don't like that too much and she is definitely a drama queen! I heard about the show at the last minute and after seeing the previews, I was almost panicking to watch it because I love reality shows. Thankfully, I have the DISH Remote Access app on my phone so I watched the show from there. I work and subscribe to DISH Network and with the help of my Sling Adapter, I am able to watch live and pre-recorded no matter where I'm at or what I'm doing. The app is available for Apple and Android Mobile Devices and can be downloaded for free in the App Store and Android Market. I love it and I'm always recommending that people check out DISH Network and experience a value unseen by any other provider!

i just love toni & trina there're both so cute. traci & towanda are cool, but damm tamar she's such a loud mouth *****. she reminds me a little like nene. both are ugly inside n out. mom evelyn is cool & bossy. i will be closely keeping my eyes on toni & the freakyass cute sis trina.
I LOVE,LOVE DA BRAXTONS, THEY ARE ALL VERY BEAUTIFUL LADYS. SO BEST WISHES, AND GOD BLESS.....
IT'S REFRESHING TO SEE BEAUTIFUL BLACK WOMEN WITH VALUES......
I am sick ofTamar and her hollier than thou attitude. She is too pretty to act so stupid and degrating to her sisters and mom. I'm 1 of 5 girls, we have had tiffs, but you have to check yourself out when everyone, including your husband, thinks you go too far and say too much. You have faults like everyone else, so show Love for your sisters and stop making black women look crazy like you.
They need to kick Tamar of the show. She has not class and is far from being the Diva that she thinks she is. The show will a lot better without her. I hear she is having a show of her own, which will be watched by me. I don't even think her husband likes her. He's always trying to get away from her (lol). Get rid of her!!!
