'American Idol' Top 8 rewind: Kelly Clarkson, Fantasia, Adam Lambert and more

Zap2it has been looking back at the best performances from each stage of the "American Idol" finals and now we're taking a gander at the Top 8. This week on "Idol," the contestants are gearing up for Songs from the Movies as the theme, but what about the past performances at Top 8?This collection of Top 8 might be the best single phase of the competition yet, even including how unkind the themes of Queen and Latin were on seasons 5 and 6, respectively.
Who are you favorites? Vote below. As of this writing, you've voted Carrie Underwood's "Alone" as the best Top 11 performance, David Cook's "Billie Jean" as the best Top 10 performance and David Archuleta's "Smoky Mountain Memories" as the best Top 9 performance.
Which one will win Top 8? We sense a dogfight coming on between Kelly, Fantasia and Glambert, and that doesn't even account for how great Constantine Maroulis, Jason Castro and Allison Iraheta were on the Top 8 week.

Kari, I love Jordin. But her Top 8 performance was not good.
Funny thing is I loved Lambert's Mad World arrangement, but then I heard the Gary Jules and Michael Andrews arrangement and I love that more, so I picked Kelly.

Kelly is the greatest singer to ever come out of Idol. Hands down. She owned this performance and should win.
Adam Lambert hands down !
I don't remember some of the performances listed above. Some do come to mind for me personally. Loved Adam's Mad World, David Archuleta's Imagine, Fanatsia's Summertime, Kelly's Respect. I like Crystal and Melinda Doolitte though I can't recall a specific performance. They are among the female greats. A lot of good talent from American Idol :)
Loved Adam's Mad World during Top 8. I also love Kelly, Allison and Blakey baby....but Adam tops them all (he and Kelly reign supreme in my book when it comes to Idols and sheer talent).

That is TOTES unfair to have Adam's "Mad World" and Fantasia's "Summertime" in the same vote!!! I'm a total Adam fan, but I love both of these!!! This is a King Solomon situation! Ahhh, the inhumanity of it... :)
