'American Idol': Iggy Pop, 'Real Wild Child,' almost rocks til' he drops

So you wanna be a rocker, James Durbin? Take a lesson from Iggy Pop -- who at age 63 (Note: That's like 398 in heroin years) pranced shirtless across the "Idol" stage singing his 1986 hit "Real Wild Child." At some point, even legends become caricatures of themselves. Think "Fat Elvis" or, you know, Britney Spears. But that doesn't mean we don't still heart them. And Iggy gets our props for -- in true rock and roll spirit -- not giving a flying **** whether he delivered a top-notch performance on a competition show he would've bombed out of back in 1969 anyway. The man is a rock legend and that's why he was there Thursday (April 7) night.
Those of you out there who are not necessarily fans of Iggy's seminal band, The Stooges, may have been left shaken and a little confused. It's okay. Just forget it ever happened and keep humming Constantine Maroulis's rendition of "Unchained Melody."

I have watched Idol every night from the first show, but I have NEVER seen such an injustice. Pic IS in the top two, and with these results I know that I will NOT watch any more Idol shows!!!!!!
I also think that let Pia go was a big mistake she has a great voice as some people said she may be a bit boring but she has an amazing talent!!! For me Stefano is in the bottom and Im sure he did his best but it doesn't compare with Pia...I was very sad to see her go!
America voted. How do you think Stefano feels? The crowd booing, judges saying they can't believe it. No one congratulated Stefano. He deserves to stay on the show too. Pia was good, but someone had to go. Glad you made it Stefano! Way to go!

Time to find something else to watch if people aren't voting for the real talent. This is the biggest let down of idol history.
Tonight's abomination is one more example of a failed voting system. Does anyone think that Adam Lambert really lost to Chris last season???
LOLz.. Pia is a lounge singer at best. People needs to get over looks.
This was a real shocker. Of the two, I thought Stefano was the lesser talent. I don't think that Pia has as good a voice as the judges seem to think that she has. Those ending high notes just sound like screaming to me. But what do I know. I am not a singer.
The judges should not chastise “the American public” for not voting. We DID vote, and we voted Pia off. I know I voted my 50 times on-line and did not vote for Pia once because she is boring, not edgy, raw or different. So, the truth is, we DID vote; we just didn’t vote for Pia. The judges need to respect that & respect what we, the veiwers, want! And by being so shocked about Pia, it was basically saying, “All the others suck” which is definitely not true. At this point, they are all talented.
Its not only abt the singing,hence britney spears and others... yea she has a great voice , but shes pretty boring.
