TV Ratings: CBS wins, but 'Secret Millionaire' premiere strong for ABC

secret-millionaire.jpgFast national ratings for Sunday, March 6, 2011.

Without last week's Oscars to propel ABC to a huge win, CBS was back on top, albeit by a slim margin, as ABC's "Secret Millionaire" debuted to big numbers. NBC's premieres of "America's Next Great Restaurant" and "Celebrity Apprentice" were also decent.

CBS took the total viewers crown with 10.9 million and a 6.5 rating/11 share, with ABC right on its heels with 9.8 million and 6.0/10. NBC was next with 6.4 million, 3.9/6, followed by FOX at 5 million, 2.8/5.

ABC took the 18-49 demo crown with the premiere of "Secret Millionaire" and a new "Desperate Housewives," winning with a 2.7 rating, followed by CBS (2.4), FOX (2.3) and NBC (2.1).

I find it strange that Celebrity Apprentice came on after a NBC special on bullying. Richard hatch bullies David Cassidy (including physical violence which he could be arrested for), and Hatch is rewarded.

David Cassidy handling of the situation proves that he is more of a man than Richard Hatch will ever be. BTW wasn’t Hatch in trouble for abusing his child too!
Shame on Donald Trump and NBC

Was very disappointed in Millionaire, she gave 40 thou. to a music school and only 20 thou to the Love kitchen? It should have been at least 50 thou. her priorities were misplaced. Wife and I couldnt believe the amount was so low after the way she was acting with the Twins

Was very disappointed in Millionaire, she gave 40 thou to a music school and only 20 thous to the love kitchen? her priorities were misplaced. She should have given at least 50 thou to the kitchen, their need was much greater.

Good Lord, ABC dominated the demo ratings Sunday. America's Funniest Home Video's came in at number one at 7pm in demo? LOL. Secret Millionaire, Sunday's most watched program? Desperate Housewives got the highest demo of the night? Woah. Suddenly, ABC's got some wiggle room. Now what do they do with the other reality hit, Extreme Home Makeovers? Tuesdays at 8pm, possibly? They must dancing in the streets at this news. And if they can get one more hit out of their still to debut spring shows (Body of Proof, Shark Tank, Happy Endings, etc.) to add to the returning big gun, DWTS, it will be one of the fastest turnarounds in fortune I've seen a new head of programming pull off.

Anutter butterfried leaking tower de piazza nite on dominatrix pantyhouse ABCDEFG and anutter poo platter from Leslie Moonbats and GEComcastMSNBC. Haha lol purr sad thins! Noww off to Yoda.

Dionne Warwick has been in the music business for over 50 years. Dionne's music is timeless: Walk on By, Say a little Prayer, Do You Know The Way to San Jose, Promises Promises, I'll Never Fall In Love Again, Then Came You, I'll Never Love This Way Again etc..... She doesn't fit in on The Apprentice. I'd rather see her on tour with Diana Ross.

Diana Ross won't even tour with Mary Wilson from The Supremes. You can forget about a Dionne Warwick/Diana Ross tour

LOL! Forgot about Diana's Diva attitude! Still love them though. Maybe if Aretha's health improves she can tour with Dionne. They have so many great songs. Log on to Diva Demolition.com Very interesting.

Whats with Aretha Franklin, why wont she admit she had stomach surgery to lose weight. she lost 85 lbs, only way to lose that is with surgery, I know I had it done years ago. guess she is another Star Jones.

Great idea for a new reality show: Aretha Diana, Dionne etc... judge novices singing their classics. Plus we get to hear the legends sing too.
