You knew this day was coming. (No, you really knew this day was coming.)

The 25th and final season of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" will come to an end on May 25.

Harpo Productions confirmed the date on Mar. 25, giving fans of the internationally syndicated talk show exactly two months to prepare for the presumably tearful goodbye.

Winfrey announced the series would end back in Nov. of 2009, citing her new network, OWN, as her primary reason for leaving a daily broadcast behind.

Are you ready for a world without daily Oprah -- and what are you hoping to see during the series' final days?

oy, go aready.

There are a lot of people cheering for this network to fail, and even more cheering for it to succeed. Oprah is someone who is always willing to give someone a chance. Her network, I am sure is going to give hundreds of people chances to live there dream. In some way. Being an employee of DISH, I was looking forward to the day the network launched. It was well worth it! I recommend it to anyone who needs that little tap on the shoulder to know that there is still quality TV out there!

Hi Oprah I'm trying to get tickets to your final show I've watched you for years and now I would like to wish you luck in person. Myself and my two daughters will be in the Chicago area around that time, and with a wing and Prayer and a whole lotta luck we wish for three tickets we are even willing to pay for them.
