Taylor Momsen reportedly approached to co-host 'The X Factor'
Just when you think you've got Simon Cowell pegged... he goes and approaches Taylor Momsen to co-host his new reality series "The X Factor."No, we're not joking. Celebuzz is reporting that the part-time "Gossip Girl" star and full-time Pretty Reckless singer is being courted by the show's producers to co-host the FOX singing competition.
Sources say the show thinks the controversial 17-year-old is perfect because she's "young, hip and edgy" -- and often pantless. OK, we added that pantless part, but still, producers feel Momsen has the energy the show is looking for.
Earlier this week, news broke that producer L.A. Reid officially signed on to be a judge and rumors are circulating that singer Enrique Iglesias has been approached to host the show as well.
Auditions begin in Los Angeles on Mar. 27 and the winner will receive a recording contract worth $5 million.

I think she would be awseome as a judge but not as host.She is an amazing singer unlike most girls today and I think she would say it like she means it. But who knows she could be a good host.

I'm already skeptical about LA Reid joining the judging panel, so if Momsen does join as host I don't think this show is going to take off very well.
