Lynda Carter on 'Wonder Woman' costume: Adrianne Palicki 'looks fabulous'
We've all been weighing in on Adrianne Palicki's "Wonder Woman" costume for the new NBC reboot, but there's one opinion that really matters -- Lynda Carter's. Though Carter wasn't the original live-action Wonder Woman, she's certainly the most memorable and most iconic.E! asked her what she thought of the brand new costume, and Carter was completely supportive. "I think she looks fabulous," she says. "It's a new look and, jeez, her body looks fantastic."
What? Not even a complaint about the boot color?
Carter is very excited about the new series and genuinely hopes that the pilot gets picked up to go to series. (We're guessing she hasn't read the script.) She says that she knows she and Palicki will be compared, but she's not worried about it.
How very classy! "I want this story to be told again. I'm really excited. I can't wait to see it."

I wish Adrianne Pilicki the best - I thought she was good in FNL. But why David Kelley & others who produce shows/movies w/women - feel the need to put them in such high heels? They are ostensibly in action roles & actually do some of their own running. Adrianne is tall w/o those heels, but she is not a real Amazon goddess - her ankles will take a pounding & could easily break. This BS of women in police parts always wearing stilettoes & doing chases in them, is idiocy. I love all those actor women who are closer to 5' tall than 6 - but stop with the dumbass shoes. Creepy fan service crap.
I enjoyed watching the Lynda Carter version of "Wonder Woman." Hopefully this new interpretation will be more successful than the Family Affair, Knight Rider & Bionic Woman remakes. Each of those encores missed the mark. I would also include the Dukes of Hazzard movie with a new cast as another example of why it is better to let old shows live on undisturbed in rerun heaven.
how can david kelly not start his version of the show with paradise island and the competition she won that sent her to mans world? It was in the tv movie and the tv show. Then, update it from there.
Lynda Carter was amazingly hot as Wonder Woman. Adrianne Pilicki is...not.
I think upon seeing this costume, thousands of young boys (and more than a few girls) will immediately hit puberty. As I recall, the same thing happened back in the 70s with the original series.
Ouch.
Uh, guys...... The Wonder Woman character is supposed to be beautiful, young, cute, responsible, yet childish. Kind, yet strong & firm. Submissive, but dominant.
