Jonathan Groff set to return to 'Glee'
Jesse St. James is making his triumphant return to "Glee," y'all!Despite reports that Jonathan Groff would not be able to return to FOX's hit show this season due to scheduling conflicts, TV Line is now reporting that the fan favorite has worked out a deal to reprise his role. Three cheers for more Groff!
Want even more good news? Groff will be returning for not one, not two, but three episodes. Three more cheers for more Groff!
Fans can expect to see Jesse in Season 2's final three episodes. When we last saw Jesse, he won Sectionals with Vocal Adrenaline and broke Rachel's (Lea Michele) heart with an egg to the head in the process. Cold-blooded.
So what's he doing back? A source says, "He's back to apologize to Rachel and perhaps to get her back."
That's great and all since we loved real life BFFs Groff and Michele's chemistry, but what we really want to see is a sing-off between Jesse and Blaine (Darren Criss). Old fan favorite vs. new fan favorite sounds pretty epic, no?

I honestly had forgotten that he existed. Nothing against J-Groff; but I certainly do not think that he was fan-favorite material?! Blaine is an integral part of Glee now; Jesse was always a one-off character...
I am happy, cause maybe this means Finn will wake up from his Quinn stupor! I am sure this is just another catalyst to Finn and Rachel. I sorely miss them. I just want them to be happy...isn't glee suppose to be gleeful?! It only is when Finn and Rachel are happy...together!!
Jonathan Groff and Lea Michelle recorded a song for Glee which never aired. It was "Hello Twelve, Hello Thirteen, Hello Love." Maybe they'll get to sing that song in some way. You can hear it on youtube.

I think you're missing the word "not" in the first sentence of the second paragraph.
He was for sure a fan favorite and he didn't take away from the main group like Blaine has. Plus Groff is a better actor that Darren.

This just made my week. I was heartbroken when I read he would not be returning, thankfully, that information was wrong. Can't wait for Jonathan to grace my screen again.

Rachel and Finn need to graduate this year. Jesse has no appeal whatsoever. Glee was a wonderful one season wonder, but alas, that season is gone.
