Elizabeth Hurley: 'Wonder Woman's' new wonder villain

After NBC announced the casting of "Friday Night Lights" alum Adrianne Palicki for the "Wonder Woman" title role, we all wondered who would fill out the rest of the cast. Via her Twitter, Elizabeth Hurley has confirmed that she's on board.

"Thrilled to be doing the NBC pilot Wonder Woman. I'll be playing the evil villain. Can't wait," she writes.

TVLine reports that her tweet may have been a little bit premature, though, because there are some work Visa issues that need to be worked out before the Londoner can cross the pond to film. The role is Veronica Cale, "an evil scientist and businesswoman with a secret, nefarious plan."

Right now, it's just a pilot-only guest gig, but it's likely to be a recurring role should the David E. Kelley show go to series.
