'Drop Dead Diva' S3 diva overload: Paula Abdul, LeAnn Rimes and Wendy Williams guest star

The cast of "Drop Dead Diva" is back on-set and shooting Season 3. And they've got a few extra divas stopping by.
As Zap2it first reported, "Live To Dance's" Paula Abdul will appear in the Season 3 premiere. Now, Lifetime announces that country singer LeAnn Rimes and talk show host and new "Dancing with the Stars" contestant, Wendy Williams, will appear in the episode, as well.
Last time Abdul was on-set, executive producer Josh Berman told us exclusively that she shot a provocative scene that will potentially open next season's premiere episode. She'll be in bed with Jane (played by Brooke Elliot) and Fred (Ben Feldman). Abdul reprises her role as Jane's "voice of reason" and will be advising her on her relationship with Grayson (Jackson Hurst).
Rimes will play the soon-to-be-ex-wife of Jane's client, a hard-partying celebrity being tried for hit-and-run. And Williams plays a judge and we assume she'll be showing off her new dancing skills when she joins a musical dream sequence choreographed by "So You Think You Can Dance's" Keith "Tyce" Diorio.
Season 3 premieres this summer.
Are you excited to welcome back "Diva" for Season 3?

Let me guess, Leann got the job because one of her friends just so happens to be the producer. Now with all the staged photo-ops and Leann's crazy tweets about another woman's kids, does Drop Dead Diva and Lifetime really think that people want to see Leann Rimes? Did they forget about what happened when Shape mag tried to put her on their cover and all the negative feedback she and Eddie received from the public at their Grammy and preOscar party appearances? The public has had enough of these two. Viewers are going to remember Leann's lack of compassion for Brandi and Dean and how Leann said in three interviews that she doesn't regret the outcome of her actions. This is sad that a prodcer would be so out of touch with their viewers that they put someone like Leann Rimes on their show.
Have you seen Leann's latest tweets? Apparently she is just using Drop Dead Diva as a means to get more attention for her wedding to Eddie and the reality show that she has in the works about their life as newlyweds. In other words, Drop Dead Diva is popular and therefore she thinks that it will make her and Eddie popular by being on it.
She is already using Drop Dead Diva as an excuse to tip off the paps so that that they can get "candid" shots of her at the airports.
I hope Lifetime and Drop Dead Diva are ready for the backlash because they decided that Leann was "perfect" for their role instead of listening to what their viewers want.
I guess that Ep I will miss, I really love the show and never miss one, Leann, not good. Lifetime please rethink this one very carefully.
who did leann know to get that gig? She is as bad as Jake Pavelka bragging about being on that show 2 fame ***** who want to be relavant Now that would be a good hook up in real life Leann and Jake P
Apparently Leann's producer friends must have forgotten to tell her that she wasn't the star of the show because she is tipping off the paps like crazy and thinks that this role on Drop Dead Diva has elevated her status as an actress that she is walking around airports like a Diva (smiling like she accomplished something) and of course making sure to show off that 5 carat ring that her fiance reduced his child support to pay for. This is what happens when producers invest in Leann, she goes overboard and makes people dislike her even more, now why would anyone watch her on Drop Dead Diva when they can watch her pretend to be something everyone knows she is not?
